Week Four Results

Week 4 in the bag and it’s the first week where we have 100% success rate! Congrats everyone Jack and John!
The Picks
We are down to the final two in XLMS with both players having used their buybacks. It’s a straight shootout each week between our two Js.
Early Win
John selected the Cowboys for their visit to the Giants. Opting to go for the TNF game, the pressure was off for the rest of Week 4 as Dallas ran out 20-15 winners in a game that was notable for Brandon Aubrey missing his first FG of the season.
Deebo Who?
The 49ers welcomed Deebo Samuel back into their lineup with a stout defensive performance that saw the 49ers condemn the Patriots 1-3 record with a 13-30 beating at Levi Stadium. The San Francisco defence recorded 6 sacks, 4 forced fumbles two of which were recovered and Fred Warner added pick-6 for good measure.
Byes
It’s the first week of byes in the NFL. With the following four teams all not playing this week:
- Detroit Lions
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Tennessee Titans
Only one team has been used by either player, when John selected the Chargers in Week 2.
On We March
This all means the whole week was basically pointless we move onto Week 5.
Am I doomed to write these articles every week while Jack & John battle it out endlessly or is this the penultimate results article? I suppose we will find out next week.
